Integrated nature area management Project in Netherlands

The Netherlands Directorate of Nature & Biodiversity of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (Ministry of LNV) has requested support from the Structural Reform Support Programme (SRSP) mandated by the DG REFORM of the European Commission for the development of an integrated area management approach and database tool.  The general objective of this service contract is to contribute to institutional, administrative and growth-sustaining structural reforms in the Netherlands. The reform needed in the Netherlands stems from its ambition for a National Environmental Vision (Nationale Omgevingsvisie – NOVI), which aims to develop an integrated design and approach for area management plans.
