Skills and Strategies for Industrial Modernisation and Growth project in Uzbekistan

AARC provided support to the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of Uzbekistan under the Technical Assistance project funded by ADB. Among other tasks, AARC was responsible for (i) Identification and analysis of the skills demand and supply in three geographic areas; (ii) Develop and establish a pilot skill monitoring system model to address emerging job demands; (iii) Identification of possible reform and program design options to improve skills development systems in Uzbekistan.

 

AARC also performed a preparation of project documents for proposed ADB loan that included Sector Assessment, Initial Poverty and Social Assessment; Design review of selected educational facilities; Procurement capacity assessment of involved agencies; Environmental assessment; Project costing and others.
