Funded under the European Neighbourhood Partnership Instrument (ENPI) programme, the evaluation underpins a wider strategy to strengthen the competitiveness of business and industrial development, which is part of a process of ecological transition to a green economy in Morocco. With a funding envelope of €105m the “Competitiveness and Green Economy” supports the Kingdom of Morocco as it looks to source, in excess, of 50% of energy needs from renewal sources by 2030.  renewable energy targets above 50% in 2030 and support the process of modernisation and environmentalisation within the business sector focusing on small and medium sized enterprises. The technical team was responsible for monitoring reforms, analysing EU disbursements, formulating the various related TAs, and working on the closure of the program and possible follow-up policies.
