Improving the public-private partnership policy in Belgium
The project falls within the Belgian National Pact for Strategic Investments (NPSI) launched in 2017. The NPSI aims at boosting investment and fostering coordination between the Federal Government, the Regions, and the Communities in the field of investment. In 2018, a new governance structure was created to ensure political and technical coordination across levels of government in implementing the NPSI. The purpose of this DG Reform funded project is to provide standardised principles for Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts as well as specific training and guidance on Value for Money (VfM) methodologies.
